There are 2 numbers related to your body that are vital:
1. Your body temperature must be maintained at 98.6 °F or 37 °C. This is why when it is hot outside, often times we will shiver or conversely when it’s cold, we sweat. This keeps your body temperature within a narrow, safe range.
2. You blood pH level must be maintained at 7.36. The blood is the basic source of everything, carrying oxygen and nutrients throughout the body. If this number was to fluctuate by only 1 or 2 points, you would be dead because it would literally change your chemistry. Think of it like a stove, if you unplug it from the power source there is no power and it won’t function. Similarly, it would be as if someone ‘unplugged’ all your organs, cells, everything!

Well, that’s a good question. There are many different methods of purifying water available in these modern times, but many of them have both pros and cons.
For example, carbon filtration is excellent for most contaminants across the board, and leaves the water tasting fresh and sweet. Unfortunately, this method of filtration fails to remove fluoride and some smaller viral contaminants. But for the most part, these are an excellent choice, as they are cheap, remove many of the organic volatiles, and virtually take out all of the chlorine – so no smell!

The healthy human body contains both acids and bases. The organs maintain the pH of arterial blood between 7.35 and 7.45. To counteract the amount of acids consumed by eating, drinking, and breathing, the body will take alkaline substances from body parts, such as bone.
By drinking alkaline water, you are able to counteract the intake of acids and help the body regulate its pH in a more healthy way.

Before
After drinking ionized water for 30 days, Ronnie Ruizs blood (shown left) still reveals some unhealthy signs. We are seeing yeast cells and what we call target cells, which are red blood cells (RBCs) with white spots inside. This is indicative of a diet that is too high in carbohydrates/simple sugars and /or an imbalance in the body.
We also see some RBCs that look like bottle caps. This is a more significant indication of latent tissue acidosis at the cellular level and the body’s inability to remove acid waste through the urinary tract. With the body unable to remove the acid waste build up, cells eventually break down and start their biological transformation into bacteria. Overall, this blood is not in a healthy state.

We have found that long-term ingestion of alkaline ionized water (AIW) reduces cercal fermentation in rats that were given highly fermentable commercial diet (MF: Oriental Yeast Co., Ltd.). In this experiment, rats were fed MF and test water (tap water, AIW with pH at 9 and 10) for about 3 months. Feces were collected on the 57th day, and the rats were dissected on the 88th day.
The amount of ammonium in fresh faces and cecal contents as well as faecal free-glucose tended to drop down for the AIW group. In most cases, the amount of free-amino acids in cecal contents did not differ significantly except for cysteine (decreased in AIW with pH at 10) and isoleucine (increased in AIW with pH at 10).

Diabetes is a disease of dehydration, where a person is drinking and expelling these fluids almost as soon as they go in. Your body is fighting to maintain a PH balance that is more in an alkaline environments but cant because the cells are not able to absorb the proper amount of nutrients.
When the cells dont work properly, the organs dont work properly. So chances are if you are diabetic you already have a body with a pH balance that is too acidic. If you dont reduce the acid in your body you could end up developing complications such as kidney failure, gangrene, and blindness.
Blood sugar balance is critical to your bodys proper functioning. Blood sugar is the primary source of fuel for the body’s cells and is particularly critical to the brain and the eyes. When glucose isn’t regulated properly through the bloodstream, the body’s cells don’t obtain the energy they need.
When you have excessively high blood sugar, as in hyperglycemia or diabetes or excessively low blood sugar as in hypoglycemia it prevents the organs from working properly and leads to a decline in health and faster aging process.
The bodys blood sugar level is regulated primarily by the pancreas and the liver. The liver stores excess glucose and releases it when needed. The pancreas secretes insulin that helps carry glucose into the body’s cells, and it secretes glucagon that triggers the release of stored glucose in the liver.
When the body becomes too acidic it can affect either organ from functioning properly causing the blood sugar to become excessively high or low and the cells will begin to starve.
